This wonderful compact is also a purse and a fabulous fashion accessory. The black grosgrain case has a short handle of the same fabric and a snap closure pouch on the reverse side where a credit card, driver’s license, or cash could be carried. The front of this case is cut away to reveal the gold-tone compact with rhinestone fruiting branch. The compact is held shut by the “Swinglok” feature - a bar than snaps down. The inside is complete with a clear plastic comb, unused dark berry-colored lipstick. Two compartments have tightly latching lids. One was meant for cigarettes, but could hold any number of other items. The other contains loose powder and an unused powder puff. The mirror is intact. The lid of the powder compartment is marked VOLUPTE’ U.S.A.. The powder puff is labeled with the name of the maker.
