This extraordinary necklace is composed of sky-blue handmade turquoise “gumball” beads, graduated from 8.5 to 13 mm. in size. Each bead is unique, with very slight irregularities of shape, because they were individually crafted by traditional methods, rolled on a grinding wheel, then hand-drilled. At each end is a handcrafted sterling silver cone with stampwork. One cone is marked /PZ. We have been unable to identify the name of this artist, but experts have verified that this is an authentic Native American piece. The beads are strung on what appears to be white cotton cord. Simple hook clasp holds securely. This is a spectacularly beautiful necklace, of the highest level of craftsmanship.
