This charming vintage recipe box is handpainted with pink and blue flowers and yellow-green leaves on a black background. It dates to the 1960s. The artist has signed with initials - EH. The hinged top works smoothly. The box has an impressed mark MADE IN USA, but the black paint has been applied over that stamp. Inside, there is an old recipe card for “Salmon in a Blanket” which was given away by Fred Meyers grocery stores and features Bisquick.
Measures 5-1/4 wide, 3 inches front to back, and 3-3/4 inches tall.
Very good vintage condition, with one scratch to the front panel and light paint wear to some corners and edges.
