This beautiful necklace was assembled with graceful curls of gold-tone and silver-tone metal, studded with gold-tone and silver-tone half-ball beading. The floral-inspired central medallion is a graceful mandala, with leaf-like Art Nouveau styling in the side elements. A brass chain closed by a “thumbless” style spring ring clasp completes the piece. The clasp holds securely and is of the type used most frequently between the 1930s to 1950s. The piece is similar in style to the Retro Moderne jewelry created by Carl-Art in the 1940s.
