These elegant earrings date to circa 2000. The faceted, black, glass tear-shape at the earlobe is set in gold-tone. Beneath it swings a large glass faux pearl. Marked TRIFARI with a crown over the T, and TM. The trademark is for the very comfortable clip back design. The pad of the clip is hinged, adding an individualized gentle grip, and the clip itself has a flexible spring action which allows it to grip securely while adjusting to the shape of the lobe.
Earrings measure 1-1/4 inches long. Pearl beads measure 13 mm. in diameter.
