These charming vintage earrings date to the 1970s. They feature glass faux turquoise stones in a traditional Native American style needlepoint pattern. A glass cabochon is at the earlobe, and beneath that drops a slightly curved silver-tone rectangle bearing 16 small stones arranged down either side of a central ridge. Clip backs hold well. The backs are marked with an image of Knifewing, the half-man half-eagle warrior god. We have been unable to identify which costume jewelry manufacturer marked their Southwest style line with this image. Clip backs hold well. These earrings are a high quality imitation of a traditional Native American design.
