This lovely and practical solid cedar box was presented to a senior in high school by the Kaufman-Miller Furniture Co. of Port Angeles, Washington as part of Lane’s Graduate Girl program. It is in an uncommon style that dates it quite precisely to the late 1950s. The box has beautiful wood grain and strong hinges. Over the decades it has become separated from its original key, but keys for these boxes are uniform in style and readily available.
Measures 5 × 8-3/4 inches, 3-1/2 inches tall.
