1950s Willy Winnaess for David-Andersen Blue Enamel Sterling Leaf Brooch

$135.00

This beautiful royal blue enamel brooch is in the form of 4 leaves. The veining of the leaves has been carved into the silver beneath the enamel, for a wonderfully life-like effect. A gold wash over the silver adds richness. It is marked with the David-Andersen scales and D-A 925S STERLING NORWAY. It also has a W in a circle, the hallmark of Willy Winnaess, a key designer for David-Andersen during the 1950s. Safety clasp holds well.

Measures 2-1/2 x 1-1/4 inches.

Excellent vintage condition. Normal patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed.
