This beautiful turned wooden vase has a graceful Modern shape and beautiful lines. It is made from Oregon myrtlewood, reknowned for its remarkable tight grain and lovely honey color. The vase has been skillfully handcrafted, turned from a single block of wood, and protected with a shiny varnish. In the neck of the vase, a glass test tube has been inserted to allow it to be used for fresh flowers without damaging the wood. On the bottom is a label which reads:
MYRTLE A rare and beautiful wood from the evergreen forests of Oregon. Fashioned in the shops of J. D. MOLITOR COOS BAY, ORE.
Measures 6 inches tall. Base is 2-1/4 inches in diameter. Widest part of vase is 2-1/2 inches in diameter.
