























Mexican Modernist Erika Hult de Corral "Ric" Sterling & Malachite Pendant Necklace
This beautiful pendant necklace is the work of modern Mexican silver master, Erika Hult de Corral. Educated at the Parson’s School of Design, she worked closely with Enrique Ledesma and Sigi Pineda before opening her own studio. Corral’s designs are strongly Modern, even while continuing in the Mexican silver tradition. This sterling pendant has a gentle convex curve and a sinous form featuring positive and negative space. Two sqare slabs of beviled malachite accent the piece. The pendant is on a long rope chain with a lobster-claw clasp that holds well. The pendant is marked Ric (in script) 925 TC-206. The chain is marked 925 ITALY.
Pendant measures 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Chain measures 24 inches long. Weight is 18 grams, or 0.6 ounce.
Excellent vintage condition. Normal patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed.
