This beautiful necklace is composed of tiny snail shells of the type commonly called sundial shells. Each shell has a unique pattern of spiraling speckles in beige, tan, and brown, with a slightly iridescent background. These particular shells are especially interesting because of the variations in size. Two of the shells are significantly larger than the others, but each one is slightly different in size than those surrounding it. This gives the necklace a wonderful random quality that is entirely organic. This is a very long necklace, suitable for wearing alone or layering with other shell or flower leis.
