Jimi Hendrix 1945-1970 - Rolling Stone Magazine No. 68 October 15, 1970

$135.00

Rolling Stone - No. 68, October 15, 1970

The format of this very early Rolling Stone magazine is a folded newspaper. The inner pages are of newsprint, with a higher quality white paper cover. This is the memorial tribute issue published immediately after the death of Jimi Hendrix. It features a Jim Marshall photo of Jimi Hendrix on the cover. Inside, there are 12 more photos of Jimi, plus an account from London on the circumstances of his death. The issue also contains an interview with Eric Clapton and a review of Neil Young's "After The Goldrush".

Very good vintage condition. The cover is without rips or stains. The newsprint inside has darkened with age and the edges of these pages that extend beyond the cover are slightly frayed.
