This beautiful brooch was made in Singapore soon after Risis developed the technique for plating high karat 22 or 24K gold over natural orchid flowers. The rich, warm yellow gold of this brooch is a perfect complement for the delicate petals and highly dimensional shape of the flower. There is something quite magical about having a delicate flower preserved for all time inside precious metal. Marked with the block-style RISIS signature, which dates it to the early years of production. Safety clasp holds well.
