This lovely necklace achieves a perfect blend of classic sophistication and casual style. It is composed of 4 segments of small freshwater pearls, each twisted in 3 strands, and 3 segments of 3.5 mm. black onyx beads, also twisted in 3 strands. The strands of pearls and onyx are separated by one golden 3 mm. bead between each juncture. Because of the necklace construction, we have been unable to test these beads for gold content, though similar necklaces frequently include 14K beads. The base metal barrel clasp holds securely. This amazingly versatile necklace is perfect for every occasion, from the beach to a business meeting to a fancy evening out.
