This remarkable choker necklace features a molded blue-green Egyptian Revival glass stone with golden heiroglyphics. This oval glass stone is prong set in a brass Victorian Revival setting that is as lovely on the back as the face of the stone is on the front. These are suspended from an antiqued gold-tone stamped brass book chain with a fold-over clasp that holds well. The molded glass stone appears to be Czech in origin and is similar to those used in the jewelry of the famed Neiger brothers during this era.
Measures 18-1/4 inches long. Glass stone measures 1-1/4 × 1-5/8 inches. Pendant drops 2 inches below necklace.
