DeLizza & Elster "Juliana" Frosted Yellow Jonquil Stone 5 Link Bracelet
The richness of these diamond-shaped yellow stones, called “jonquil” by Frank DeLizza, is hard to describe and harder to photograph. The base of each big stone is frosted, with transparent yellow faceted glass above, giving the stones a soft glimmer that comes from within. These stones are prong-set in gold-tone and flanked by rows of yellow aurora borealis rhinestones, all mounted on the 5 signature oval-shaped links that distinguish the classic “Juliana” bracelet. Between each pair of jonquil diamonds is another diamond set on a connecting link. The bracelet terminates on one end with one of these single diamonds, but came to us missing the diamond-shaped connector link at the other end. The bracelet has been expertly repaired by Rhinestone Rosie, who added an authentic DeLizza and Elster yellow aurora borealis rhinestone connector link that perfectly matches the rhinestones that flank the diamond-shaped stones and accent each clasp end. We are of course disclosing this repair, but it will not be apparent to the casual observer, or even to most experienced D&E collectors upon first examination. The original safety chain is missing, though the spring ring clasp remains, so the chain could be easily replaced. Fold-over clasp holds well. Light wear to the plating of the bracelet back.
Measures 1 inch wide and 7-1/4 inches long.
Very good repaired vintage condition.
