This iconic necklace dates to circa 1980. The creamy glass faux pearls measure 10 mm. in diameter and are individually knotted. The extraordinary length of this double-strand necklace allows it to be worn draped more than once around the neck or as a torsade, if desired. The clasp, which is worn to the side of the neck, is an enameled zebra head. The zebra is cast in heavy gold-tone metal, then enameled with cream and black stripes, paved with white rhinestones, and set with emerald green rhinestone eyes.
