This gorgeous long pendant necklace dates to the 1980s. It features rich orange-red jasper semiprecious gemstone beads, two long twisted black onyx beads, and a large black onyx carved pendant depicting a peach, Chinese symbol of longevity. The black onyx of the peach, when held against the light, is tinted with dark purple. Most of the round jasper beads measure 8 mm in diameter, but there are also 4 beads measuring 11.5 mm and 6 beads measuring 4.5 mm. The bead string is a perfect color match for the jasper and is individually knotted between each bead. There is no clasp.
Necklace measures 32 inches long. The carved pendant measures 2-1/4 × 1-3/4 inches.
