Bell Trading Post Pacific Northwest Coast Copper Pendant Necklace

$125.00

This large copper pendant marks a departure from this company’s usual Southwest Native American motifs. It is inspired by the art of the Native peoples of the Pacific Northwest. An orca (killer whale) arcs around the edge of the pendant, eyes on a fish. At the center is the sun, with a superimposed moon. The pendant is suspended by a twisting rope chain, also made of copper. Fold-over clasp holds well. The back of the pendant is marked with the words SOLID COPPER around a bell. This is an earlier mark for the Bell Trading Post company, probably dating to the 1950s.

Pendant measures 2-5/8 inches in diameter. Chain measures 24 inches long.

Excellent vintage condition.
