This beautiful golden necklace was created by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1994 as a replica of one of the ancient pieces in their collection. There are 5 strands of ornate chain, each consisting of flattened coils. The clasp is a golden flower face. When worn, the necklace rests comfortably at the base of the throat. Slide-in clasp holds well. Marked MMA 1994 with the copyright symbol. This is a timeless classic from the Classical Era.
Measures 17 inches long. Clasp is 3/4 inch in diameter.
