Vintage Metropolitan Museum of Art Sterling & Vermeil Sun and Moon Earrings
These delightful sterling pierced-style earrings date to the 1980s. Each has a finely detailed bearded face. They face towards and mirror each other. The silver moon face is accented with a crescent of graduated white rhinestones. The sun face is plated with gold vermeil and has a rhinestone corona. Both are marked MMA MAd STERLING 925.
