This beautiful handmade wall art mask was created by Clay Art of San Francisco, after they moved from Cortland Avenue in Bernal Heights to a larger studio on Potrero Hill. It depicts the face of a lovely masked woman. Her mask is decorated with a musical note and piano keys. The colors of this piece are white, black, pink, and maroon. The original trailing ribbons - ivory, rose, and burgundy - are intact. Mold mark on the back reads CLAY-ART USA E-1990 with the copyright symbol. Also present is the original hang tag that identifies this mask as being one of more than 50 designs in their “About Face” line. The designers, Jenny McLain and Claudia Cohen, are credited. These highly collectible masks are rarely seen with their original ribbons and company-branded hang tags.
