This fabulous pendant necklace represents the very best of Mid-Century Napier jewelry. The very large fish pendant is light and easy to wear, but presents a very bold visual statement with its textured gold-tone finish and large white glass faux pearl eye. This piece can be dated to the early 1970s and attributed to designer Eugene Bertolli based on the style, textured finish, and the style of chain, which is shown on page 457 of The Napier Company: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry by Melinda Lewis.
