These earrings create a huge visual impact despite the lightness and delicacy of their design. Each has a large aurora borealis rhinestone surrounded by a circle of small white rhinestones, topped by a fan of 4 special skinny navette blue novelty stones. These navettes are smooth on their tops, but appear to have molded backs that create a tiger-stripe pattern shimmering with iridescent blue. All stones are prong-set in silver-tone. The plating of the backs is reminiscent of that used by DeLizza & Elster, but we have not been able to confirm this as a D&E piece with our research. Clip backs hold well.
