1951 Trifari Retro Rhinestone Necklace - Alfred Philippe
This beautiful necklace displays the scrolling design typical of Retro era jewelry, but has the delicacy of 1950s design. It is set with white navette and round rhinestones and is plated in gold-tone Trifanium. Marked TRIFARI PAT PEND, this piece was manufactured before the design patent number was issued. When the design patent was awarded to designer Alfred Philippe on December 25, 1951, it was given the number 165,547. Fold-over clasp holds well.
Measures 15-3/4 inches long. Central element drops 2 inches.
Very good vintage condition. Missing one small white rhinestone which could be easily replaced. This does not affect the wearability or beauty of the necklace.
