This extraordinary triumphal brooch was designed for Trifari by Alfred Philippe circa 1950. Two gold-toned leafy laurel branches arch gracefully into a wreath shape, accented along their stems with pavee white rhinestone baguettes. Two silver-tone “fingers” in a stylized V shape are paved with tiny round white rhinestones. The plating on this piece is particularly fine golden Trifanium. Marked TRIFARI with a crown over the T. The absence of a copyright symbol dates this piece to before 1955. Safety clasp holds well.
Measures 1-1/2 × 2 inches.
Excellent vintage condition.
