1930s Large Gilt & Art Glass Pendant Cross Necklace
This beautiful large pendant necklace dates to the 1930s. It has complex, multilayered construction, with gilded brass leaves, rosettes, and filigree work, all hand-crafted onto an openwork gilt frame. The piece is finished with simulated pink marble art glass beads in 3 sizes. The box chain is also made of gilded brass.
Cross measures 2-1/2 × 3-5/8 inches. Chain is 24 inches long.
Very good vintage condition. No corrosion or other damage to metal. On close inspection, it can be seen that one of the smallest glass beads is missing. This does not detract from the charm or overall impact of this piece.
