1930s Art Deco Faux Pearl Pendant Necklace
This wonderful necklace makes a strong elegant statement with its perfect balance of bold design and delicate metalwork. It features a dramatic pendant cluster of pear-shaped glass simulated pearls framed by silver-tone leaves. The pendant is suspended from a fine silver chain that is punctuated along its length by small round faux pearls in pairs and singles. There is no clasp because the necklace was designed to slip over the wearer’s head. This beautiful survivor dates to the early 1930s.
Pendant measures 1-1/4 × 2 inches. Chain is 30 inches long.
Excellent vintage condition. Normal patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed on the silver chain.
