1930s Art Deco Rhinestone Trembler Flower Brooches Pair
This remarkable identical pair of rhinestone trembler brooches dates to circa 1930. Made of silver-tone pot metal, each features a flower face paved with white rhinestones accented by sapphire blue rhinestone pistils and stamens. These flower faces are set on springs above the brooch backs. These bases are beautifully sculpted leaves paved in white rhinestones. These unmarked beauties are rare survivors, even as single brooches, but to find two identical brooches that have remained together for nearly a century is totally unexpected. Both have safety clasps that hold well.
Brooches measure 1-1/2 × 2-1/4 inches, with 1-1/4 inch diameter flower faces rising ¾ inch proud.
Excellent vintage condition. Both brooches are missing one small blue rhinestone, in the identical location. One flower petal is missing one small white rhinestone. Springs are tight and strong.
