1904 The Nile Fortune Telling Cards
This is the second edition of this very early deck of fortune telling cards, based on a standard playing card deck. The deck was published by the U.S. Playing Card Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. All 52 standard cards are present, along with a Life Card. Unlike the 1897 first edition, this version has fortunes written on all 4 sides of each card.
Box measures 3 × 3-3/4 inches.
This deck has been well loved and used. The box shows signs of wear, but is intact. There is some yellowing to the edges of some cards. The original gold edge has largely worn away. Three cards are missing corners (see photo).
