Tucked inside is a 5 × 7 card with a formula for “Bluing of Clothes” handwritten in lovely calligraphy by an original owner. Booklets in this series are rarely seen, with this first volume being particularly scarce. Stamped on the front cover is “From Charles E. Hall, Druggist. Greenville, N.H.”
Condition: Very good antique condition. A couple of inside pages have creases created in the binding process. Very slight toning to the covers. Six tiny spots of foxing at bottom of front cover.
